Cybersecurity Ventures predicts that women will represent 30 percent of the global cybersecurity workforce by 2025, increasing to 35 percent by 2031, up from 25 percent in 2022 and around 10 percent in 2013.

In lockstep with these figures, hundreds of women in Cybersecurity have come on the Cybercrime Magazine Podcast. Hosts and guests include Fortune 500 CISOs, security company founders and CEOs, cyber defense and privacy experts, authors, journalists, and others.

Playlist on our podcast features hundreds of women in cyber. Some of them are hosts or guests on weekly shows that we produce. Lena Ghamwari, Senior Privacy Counsel and Data Protection Officer at Quora, joined us as a guest last week and afterwards agreed to be a regular on a new “Privacy Q&A series” launching in early 2025. Ghamwari is also a privacy coach who helps girls and women break into our field.
