The 2019-2020 edition of the Cybersecurity 500 list of the world’s hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies will be announced at FutureCon in Boston on October 9, 2019.

The Cybersecurity 500 is an invaluable resource for CIOs, CISOs, IT security teams, and cybercrime fighters globally. The annual compilation is pure editorial, and there’s no cost to any company that appears on the list.

For the first year ever, Cybersecurity Ventures will be publishing a special large format poster (approx. 40″ width x 60″ height) that is designed to hang on the walls of cybersecurity decision makers and experts globally.

“Our 2019-2020 list has a new format that will be seen for the first time at FutureCon in Boston,” says Steve Morgan, founder and editor-in-chief at Cybercrime Magazine.

Cybersecurity Ventures will also be on hand at the FutureCon Boston event to sign copies of their new book, “Women Know Cyber: 100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime,” which is co-authored by Morgan and Di Freeze.

Cybersecurity 500

Cybercrime is the greatest threat to every company in the world, and one of the biggest problems with mankind. The impact on society is reflected in the Cybersecurity Almanac, co-published by Cisco and Cybersecurity Ventures.

Cybersecurity Ventures predicts that cybercrime will cost the world $6 trillion annually by 2021, up from $3 trillion in 2015. This represents the greatest transfer of economic wealth in history, risks the incentives for innovation and investment, and will be more profitable than the global trade of all major illegal drugs combined.

Thousands of startups have been formed over the past decade to focus on combating cybercrime. The Cybersecurity 500 features the hottest and most innovative companies in this market.
