The field of cybersecurity is seeing incredible demand. Cybersecurity Ventures, a researcher and publisher that covers the international cyber economy, estimates that there are currently 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs globally, and that “the disparity between demand and supply will remain through at least 2025.”

With many cybersecurity jobs paying six-figure salaries — and some roles offering pay packages of nearly $1 million for top C-suite cyber talent — cybersecurity is an in-demand and well-paying field.

Fortune lists 5 of the highest-paying cybersecurity positions:

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) @ $248,000;

Director of Information Security @ $190,000;

Cybersecurity Architect @ $148,000;

Cybersecurity Engineer @ $150,000;

Application Security Engineer @ $138,000.
