A new pop culture series covering hacks in the gaming industry launched on the Cybercrime Magazine Podcast this week.

A trio of video gamers on our staff — Paul John Spaulding, GM of production; Kyle Haglund, head of audio engineering; and Sam White, video editor — cover the intersection of fun and crime on “CTRL, ALT, HACKED,” live in the Cybercrime Magazine studios.

In Dec. 2023, Insomniac Games confirmed that it was the victim of a cyberattack perpetrated by the Rhysida ransomware group, resulting in a significant data breach. In the first episode of our new series, Spaulding, Haglund, and White discuss the aftermath of this incident.
