Astra Security, a global penetration testing company with offices in New Delhi, India, and Clayton, Del., features facts, figures, predictions, and statistics from Cybersecurity Ventures in a blog post that has their own eye-catching infographics.

Some of our numbers highlighted by the ethical hackers:

Cybercrime will cost the world $10.5 trillion annually by 2025;

Cryptocrime will inflict global damages costing $30 billion annually by 2025;

Ransomware will cost its victims around $265 billion annually by 2031;

There are 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs in 2024, up from a Cisco estimate of 1 million openings a decade ago.
